our story... born of necessity

The idea for Enersolve began when Trey and Anna Parsons bought their first home. It was an older home, built in 1950. It had been cosmetically updated, but still needed energy efficient retrofitting. Trey, having always been interested in energy efficiency, knew of energy audits and wanted a whole-house energy diagnosis of his home. After all, this was his first house and with his limited budget, needed the most “bang” for his buck. However, after searching the OKC directory, the void quickly became apparent.

At the same time, a friend of Trey’s was attempting to purchase a home using a new mortgage called an EEM (Energy Efficient Mortgage). These mortgages allow the owner to receive money at closing for energy efficient upgrades to the home. The hitch: an energy audit must be performed on the home by a certified rater before the mortgage could close.

Well... that home was never purchased... and Enersolve was born!
